Typical Use / Installation Example
A common use case is in home theater prewire projects. During the rough‑in phase, you run speaker cable (12–16 AWG) from the AV rack location out to each speaker position. At the theater room, you mount a double gang low-voltage bracket in the wall and install this PI wall plate. You terminate each speaker cable to the back side of the brass binding posts. At the front (clean) side, your AV receiver or amplifier connects via banana plugs or spade lugs. The RCA feed‑through is used for the subwoofer’s LFE out.
