Example Use Case
FTTH or Backbone Fiber Certification
During an OTDR test of a fiber run between two termination points, the SC/APC-to-SC/APC launch cable is connected between the OTDR and the fiber under test. This provides a stable launch length before the first reflective event and ensures accurate measurements from the start of the link. At the opposite end, the same cable type can be used as a receive cable, enabling end-to-end testing of splices, connectors, and reflectance.
Installers performing maintenance, network acceptance, or system troubleshooting will benefit from the compact design and dual-function capability of this 1KM cable.
